So it is true then.. George Lucas was Palpatine all this time. Like so many others have stated so much better than I in this instance, thank you, Mr. Lucas, for freeing me from Star Wars at last. Most of us who are still drawing breath and are old enough to remember what Star Wars WAS, we can now all feel a grand sense of 'I told you so'. I hope the remaining Star Wars fans out there continue to defy franchise barriers and produce their own versions of the story, however I also hope that now the rose-colored lenses some of them might have been wearing this entire time might now cast them on the shifting sands. Amateurs CAN make magic, despite what the pretender Emperor might say..

So...the latest from 'Star Trek Strange New Worlds'... Spock (who has already endured repeated character assassinations and brow beating via junior officers) takes a trip with Chapel (Now she pops pills when she needs to put one on the chin of the bad guys), encounters strange new high weirdness in the tiredly-overused spatial anamoly trope ...and Spock loses his Vulcan attributes and/or the means to recall what they even were. So naturally, he has to once more be schooled and educated on what it means to be a Vulcan (and more or less how to behave under the gaze of his female shipmates) before his betrothed and family show up. During this whole process, it is more than a little baffling to learn that Spock 'forgets' how to be a Vulcan and has to be instructed by members of the crew contingent YET AGAIN. M'Benga, previously, had to show HIM about the Vulcan lyre (A piece of his own DAMN culture) and how to best apply its therapeudic effects (Cause..you know..Vulcans are so damned

With every new iteration of the Star Trek 'franchise' comes the tendency to push contemporary ideas on city planning further and further into our chosen future history. The result is more or less what you see on the left complete with functionally-redundant structures that are virtually no different from the urban sprawl seen in most major cities of our time and regardless of nation. If you disengage yourself from this tendency and examine Star Trek purely from its original source material (TOS, TAS and TMP), you will discover that Gene's forward thinking was heavily influenced by notable technocracy and resource-based economy thinkers of that time period, thus the image on the right as envisioned by the late-great Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project. The future history of Star Trek is not OUR future history. It is a future history which runs parallel with our own until 1964 (A case can be made suggesting an even-earlier timeframe for it's point of divergence) when it takes a sharp

More than a few days have past now and I remain completely baffled over the Enterprise-G decision. The sting on the cheek of the Titan and HER legacy must be palpable.

Any Treknology enthusiasts out there interested in conducting an ongoing discussion on the subject of the Eugenics Wars and related Trek chronology topics?

I am in dire need of collaborative writers, artists and concept generators to help us flesh out an original take on that period of Earth future history.

If interested, send me a tell here! I also can be reached at jbogguess@gmail.com.

Thanks for the watch! :)

Likewise mate!
Ta much, for da watch!
Absolutely! I should have punched that button ages ago.
